MEET JOHN SCHROEDER
John Schroeder spent nearly 33 years in the United States Army starting as an enlisted armored crewman and retiring as the Chief of Staff of the Wisconsin Army National Guard, as the primary personnel manager for the 7,500 Soldiers of the Wisconsin National Guard. He commanded Soldiers both in combat and peacetime, culminating with his assignment as Brigade Commander in charge of nearly 1,500 Citizen-Soldiers. While deployed, he served as an advisor and trainer for the Afghanistan National Army. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College and holds a Master's Degrees in both Strategic Studies and in Business Administration. He recently completed Project Management and Event Planning courses at Madison Area Technical College and the Entrepreneurial Training Program through the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business. He is OSHA 30-Hour Industrial Safety Course certified.
PASSION FOR RESTORATION
John has a lifelong passion for restoring equipment, machines, and vehicles. He is currently restoring three vintage military vehicles and a military trailer.
A critical factor when restoring vehicles is cleaning the metal parts of the vehicle, along with the fabric, leather and inside vehicle components. John has extensive experience in cleaning machine parts, to prepare them for continued successful use. John pays close attention to detail with his projects and focuses on finding the best solutions when faced with challenges in restoration. Additionally, with his vehicle restorations, John has extensive experience in preparing less than ideal surfaces for priming painting or other finish techniques. John brings his passion, dedication, and experience improving with vehicles, machine parts, and equipment to Green Clean Dry Ice Blast, LLC.
